About this Site UPDATE: The information below is probably outdated or no longer true. What is this site? This website, BEuler.info (formerly benjamingeuler.com), is the personal website of Benjamin Euler, originating sometime in early 2003. It consists of links to other interesting things on the web, blog entries, basketball team coverage, and whatever else he feels like posting at any given time. Content is divided into roughly seven major sections (as seen above). How Often is it Updated? The site is usually updated daily, but at times it may be updated only once in three days - or something like that. Printing If you happen to want to print something off of the site, the pages as a whole are pretty-much printer-friendly, in terms of not wasting too much toner (or ink). .Info? What's with the ".info" extension? .Info is simply another domain extension, though not as popular as "the big three": .com, .net, and .org. Why did you pick .info? Answer: it was cheaper at the time that I bought the domain. Who in Their Right Mind Visits this Website? The answer to that remains confidential, but on average, BEuler.info gets about 70-100 hits per day by people who are closely associated with the author of the website. Over the course of the last month, the site has been visited by 92 unique visitors, 57 of whom return with some regularity. This web page is quite popular in the country of Japan, as over 15 people from the country have visited off of Google searches such as "BEULER". What's with the "Refreshing Arrows"? The reasoning behind placing the little "refreshing arrows" image next to "BEuler.info" at the top of the page is threefold. (1) The arrows served as a nice little logo to enhance the overall design of the site. (2) The refreshing arrows communicate the fact that this site is often updated, and (3) the arrows express the intended goal of a visit to BEuler.info; that visits to this site would be an encouraging, refreshing experience. How Should I Contact Benjamin if I Desire to? Email always works best, and is always more than welcome. Comments, questions, insights, material to post...whatever. You can find contact information on the contact page. This Site is best Viewed with... Windows: Firefox, Opera Using MS Internet Explorer will most likely NOT be best when browsing this site. |
